Hailee Puring Steinfeld was born on December 11, 1996, in Tarzana, Los Angeles, California. She is the daughter of Cheri, an interior designer, and Peter Steinfeld, a personal fitness trainer. Hailee has an older brother, Griffin, who is a professional race car driver.
